Cherry Tomato Meatballs

- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 3⁄4 cup breadcrumbs, soft
- 1⁄4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano, dried crushed
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 cherry tomatoes
directions
- In mixing bowl combine egg and milk and stir in bread crumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, oregano and pepper.
- Add meat and mix well.
- Shape 1/4 cup of the meat mixture evenly around each cherry tomato to form round meatballs.
- Place 9x13 baking pan.
- Bake 375°F 25-30 minutes.

I am sad to say that this recipe was OK. I was so excited to try it, but they really weren't all I had hoped they would be. I added a little bit (about 1/4 cup) of parmesan cheese to the meat mixture but followed the rest of the recipe exactly. Thanks for the recipe, and I am sure that others will like this recipe, I really think it was personal taste.
