¹⁄₂ cup butter
¹⁄₂ cup Crisco
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¹⁄₂ teaspoon baking powder
¹⁄₂ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
5 ounces chocolate chips

directions

Cream butter, crisco, and sugars.
Add eggs and mix.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Mix in vanilla.
Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until top of cookie is just browned.
