  • Melt bouillon cubes in the hot water (I put it in the microwave).
  • Mix rice and water in a rice cooker or a 3-quart pan with a lid. Cover and simmer until the rice is soft.
  • Add a little butter and enjoy.

  1. Very good, quick & easy. I used my rice cooker which made this even simpler. It was a bit salty for our tastes but it had good flavor. Made for PAC Spring '12.
     
  2. This was very good, easy and quick to make. I followed the recipe other then I used brown minute rice and used the cooking time off the box of rice. I didn't add the butter at the end either. There was no rice left at the end of the meal. Will be making rice like this more often.
