Chicken Breast and Kidney Beans

- 15 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 medium onion
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 2 1⁄2 lbs skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar (cider or white)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- salt and pepper (to taste)
directions
- Dice tomatoes and crush the garlic.
- Chop the chicken
- In large pot or pan, cook chicken until almost done.
- Add tomato sauce, vinegar, onion, garlic, seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Add kidney beans and simmer for 5-10 more minutes.
