  1. Maybe take the lemon juice out and trade the 1 cup heavy cream for sour cream instead? It would still have a little zing, but not as much.

  2. Very easy to put together and the sauce is indeed delicious! I used lite mayo and cream cheese to cut down the fat content, this may have made the sauce a little runnier than it should have been, but as Id steamed some cauliflower as an extra vegetable the sauce came in very handy. My husbands comment was "If you look away, I can lick my plate" lol Thanks for posting.

  3. Rather than layer this dish, I mixed everything together. I omitted the lemon and forgot the chicken bouillon, but wow this came out tasty!! Reminds me of a hot spinach dip, I bet it would be great scooped on tortillas!

  4. Wow! This casserole was delicious. The sauce is amazing! I used chicken thighs (prefer them to dark meat) and my 8 yr old really enjoyed. What caught my eye is not having to pre-cook the chicken which saves time! A definite repeat worthy recipe. Thanks for posting!

  5. I really liked the sauce, but I thought that it could have done without the lemon juice. My husband agreed and thought that it was a little too sour. I will probably make again, but next time I will add the cheese the last 10 minutes of bake time, as it made a thick crust over the top. Thanks for posting!
