Directions

  1. Place chicken, onion, mushrooms, salt and pepper in slow cooker.
  2. Combine tomato paste, garlic, oregano, basil, celery seed, bay leaf and chicken broth. Pour over chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours. Remove bay leaf. Allow to cool.
  4. Place in freezer bag. Label and freeze.
  5. To serve: thaw. Heat until bubbly. Serve over hot pasta.
