Ingredients Nutrition

  • 250 g cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 12 cup caesar salad dressing (creamy, preferably homemade or ranch dressing)
  • 14 teaspoon black pepper, fresh
  • 14 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 14 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Cook tortellini in salted water. Rinse tortellini under cold running water until cool; drain.
  2. Stir dressing with black pepper and basil. Add tortellini -- avoid breaking up the pasta. Salad can be covered and refrigerated for up to a day.
  3. When ready to serve, gently fold in chicken and nuts. Sprinkle Parmesan over top.
