  • Bring chicken stock to a boil. Add seasonings. Set aside.
  • In a deep pan, add butter until it starts to melt then add flour.
  • Whisk in chicken stock and cook until thickened.
  • Add whipping cream. don't let it come to a heavy boil, or cream will curd! Serve!
  • If you like a clear gravy omit the cream!

  4. Quick and easy; I added some oregano and tarragon near the end to spice it up a bit, also a little black pepper. Really great last minute gravy if all you're working with is broth!
     
  5. Paragon, this chicken gravy is absolutely delicious, texture is perfect, not too thick, not to thin.. I didn't have whipping cream andso I made it without. I oversalted it and added 1/8 cup instant potato flakes and the gravy was perfect again. Nita
