"My husband and I used to eat this dish at a restaurant. Loved it! Finally got the recipe. The white wine and butter sauce gives the chicken a "dinner in the French Countryside" taste."

  1. To make this a richer chicken dish, I use Chicken broth instead of water and I saute 2 cloves of garlic in the butter before I add the chicken.

  2. The chicken was moist and delicous, the artichoke hearts were tender, the sauce was just right. We loved it.

  3. Very decadent and tasty. I used half the amount of artichoke hearts because that's all I had on hand and found it to be sufficient. Thank you.

  4. Very good recipe. i used chicken breasts and substituted about 3 T. of olive oil for the butter. Very good. The sauce was just right and very flavorful.

I?m ?originally from Texas, but now live in Florida. Still gotta have that spice though....love chipotle peppers, habaneros, and jalapenos. This is a picture of myself & my 2 daughters taken in Dec'06. I am working on my graduate degree, & still work as a nurse prn. When I'm not cooking and eating what I cook... I head for the gym to work out. As far as cookbooks, I love the church/ community cookbooks, where someone has dug out old handwritten recipes by granny and shared them with others-those are the best kind. If I had a month off, I'd for sure go hiking, would love to visit Australia and New Zealand.?
