  • Brown chicken in oil, in large skillet.
  • Add spaghetti sauce. Simmer, covered, until chicken is cooked through.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Can also be served with pasta.

  1. Delicious chicken and so quick and easy. I used chicken tenders to cut down on the cooking time, I placed the cooked chicken and sauce on top of a platter of noodles, then sprinkled with the cheese and served with garlic bread. Yummy! ETA: made for Spring 2012 Pick A Chef.
     
  2. Simple, and easy. I used low fat cheese and cut the chicken breasts in half for smaller servings. No pasta and this made for a nice low carb meal! DH and I really liked this one. Thanks for sharing.
     
  3. an incredibly easy and tasty meal. i used the thinly sliced chicken steaks (browned in oil as per the recipe) - mainly to speed up the cooking time. instead of fully cooking them in the sauce i placed them in an overproof dish, covered them with sauteed mushrooms, then the spaghetti sauce and finally sprinkled the cheese over. i put them in the oven for 20 minutes, covered with foil and they were perfect. served with broccoli and buttered noodles. fantastic!! thanks amberley.
     
  4. It just doesn't get any easier. I flattened the chicken breasts to promote even cooking, used a press to weight the chicken in order to obtain nicely browned chicken. When the chicken was almost done, spooned on the sauce, sprinkled with the cheese and covered it for a few minutes to allow cheese to melt. Dinner was delicious and easy.
