  • Combine first eight (8) ingredients.
  • Bring to boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Discard bay leaf.
  • Stir in 3 cups of diced cooked chicken and simmer an additional 5 minutes.
  • Prep time includes cooking chicken, and cutting it up for soup.
  • Do not use water that chicken was cooked in to make soup. It would be too greasy.
