Chicken Pot Pie

"This is one of my old recipes that I am quite fond of. It is easy to make, very delicous and gets you full fast. Tips: Precook the chicken by frying in olive oil and a pinch of salt."

  • Preheat oven to 400 deg F.
  • Cut chicken breasts into 1/2 inch cubes. Pour olive oil and salt into preheated frying pan. allow 2 to 3 minutes to allow oil to heat. Fry chicken until both sides are white. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Mix together in a casserole dish: uncooked/mixed gravy mix, onion soup mix, package of vegitables(thawed), cooked chicken.
  • Stir together in large mixing bowl bisquick mix and water until soft dough forms. Pinch off small balls of dough and cover top of ingredients in casserole dish.
  • When dish is completely covered with dough, bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Served best immediately from oven.
