Chicken Salad

"My husband loves this for lunches. He will often ask me to make it. Since it is just me and my husband I will make a whole chicken for dinner and make this with the leftovers. It is also a great dish for all that leftover turkey from Thanksgiving."

 1. 3/30/04: Very good. I had some leftover grilled chicken and this was perfect. Just the right balance of seasonings. Thanks. UPDATE 11/7/08: This is my favorite basic chicken salad recipe. Depending on my mood, I add different ingredients. This week I added 1/2 of a chopped orange bell pepper, some fresh parsley, parmesan cheese, dry mustard. Definitely make time for the 3 hours chill time, the flavors are much better.

 2. I like the blend of seasonings, especially the celery salt. I also added a couple of diced boiled eggs. Thanks!

I was born and raised in Florida, yes, I know, there are not very many of us out there!
I have been cooking for as long as I can remember....always helping mom in the kitchen when I was little, even if it was only stirring the spaghetti sauce or pouring the bag of chocolate chips in the batter. Now I have my nephew over for cooking lessons. He loves every minute of it. One day he will be a chef here on Recipezaar!
I have recently made a career change. I have been in banking for almost 10 years and have just made the switch to Real Estate. So far, so good. It is very interesting to me. I get to meet new people all of the time and get great ideas for home decorating....or maybe my dream home design one day!
