  1. I liked this a lot but for us, the relish sandwich spread and the sweet pickle relish took over the other flavors. One or the other would have made this a 5 star for us I think. I also used a Kraft relish spread as mentioned by chef #195977 but not sure if it is the same one or not. I served this on crackers for a snack and for DH to have for lunches during the week. Thanks for sharing. Made for Spring PAC 2013

  2. Very nice "sweet" chicken salad. I can see why Ninu is the popular one at picnics with this recipe! My man says he likes it better than mine, and most people think my chicken salad is great, so there. I had never tasted chicken salad which included the chopped boiled egg, so this was new and different for me. Another point of interest is the ingredient "relish sandwich spread." I wasn't even real sure what it was. I did a 'Zaar search (many sandwich spread recipes), and then an internet search to find out exactly what it is. I found a relish sandwich spread at my local supermarket made by "Kraft," which I believe is what Ninu is referring to in the ingredient list. I raced home with my exciting new discovery, anxious to give it a taste. We really liked it and envisioned many ways to use it up, since we only needed 2 tablespoons for this recipe. I had my chicken salad on pumpernikel bread, and my man had his on soft, whole wheat bread with lettuce. I'll be making this again. Next time I might substitute Hellmann's mayo for the Miracle Whip, to give some contrast to the sweetness of the sandwich spread and relish. Nevertheless, it's a really good chicken salad and I appreciate Ninu sharing this recipe - especially since I learned a thing or two! *Made for PAC Spring 2010

  3. YUMMY chicken salad sanwich! Served it on pumpernickel bread. I didn't have any sweet relish in so I subed with homemade cranberry sauce, turned out wonderful. Thanks for posting i will be making this again.
