  2. In a small bowl, combine chicken, cheese, celery, and mayonnaise; blend well.
  3. Gently stir in asparagus.
  4. To assemble, spread filling on unbuttered side 5 slices of bread.
  5. Cover with remaining 5 slices of bread, buttered side out.
  6. Heat skillet or griddle to 374°F
  7. Grill sandwiches about 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
