  1. I initially sought out this recipe to use up a jar of alfredo that I got from the damaged rack for $.90. I thought it would be a "throwaway" recipe since I usually don't buy anything like that. Wrong! Everyone loved this and absolutely devoured it (except my son, who is overly picky and doesn't count). I brined the chicken first. Although I would like to have used wine, I used chicken broth because I had no white wine in the house. And I did not finish with the fresh basil. Since I didn't serve pasta with it, I poured the sauce over our broccoli also, which worked out well. I will definitely make this again (although I will probably seek out an alfredo recipe on here rather than buying another jar).

  2. Great recipe!!!! Easy, fast and taste perfect. My picky husband loved it and has already asked for it again. So this one is a keeper. Thanks for a great recipe!!!!

  3. I quite enjoyed this recipe and thought it tasted great!!! My DH, on the other hand, is a more of a "tomato and beef" type of guy when it comes to pasta, so it was just OK for him. I used Marilyn's Recipe #10082 for the sauce and this worked out really well. I initially though that with the alfredo sauce that this recipe was going to be heavy tasting in sauce and it wasn't. I used Margaret's Recipe #30358, then added some of the sauce to the noodles and mixed well. I placed the chicken over top and added a bit of the sauce, so that it was not swimming in sauce. I though the basil was an excellent finish as it really brought out a nice clean taste! I had all the ingredients ready to cook while the pasta was cooking, so this sauce was brought together quite easily! I would do this one again! Thanks for sharing!

  4. I called my psychic hotline and demand something truthful and factual for a change. Something positive and good that I really could believe. Well, she swore by this recipe. Finally a truff! Made for Everyday Is a Holiday.

  5. This was an absolute hit for my boyfriend and me. For the 15oz jar of alfredo sauce, I used Classico's sun dried tomato & basil alfredo sauce. Mmmm! The only thing is, I wish I had used shrimp instead of chicken. It is the perrrrfecft alfredo sauce for shrimp! The egg fettucini noodles were perfect and only took 3 minutes to be ready. Enjoy this soon!
