- 2 (12 ounce) cans chickpeas
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 onions, quartered
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 3 1⁄2 - 4 cups mayonnaise (depending on how wet you like it)
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons fresh parsley, chooped
- 1 teaspoon dill seed
- 16 slices whole wheat bread
directions
- Smash the chickpeas to how thin you want the spread.
- Mix in the celery stalk, onion, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, parsley, dill seed, chopped celery, and lemon juice into the spread. Make sure the spread is mixed well.
- Spread the spread onto a slice of bread and then place another slice of bread ontop to create a sandwich.
- Serve and enjoy!
