  • Chop onions finely.
  • Saute onion in butter.
  • Add ground beef and brown meat slowly until well done.
  • Add red kidney beans, tomato soup, water, salt, garlic powder, chili powder, and white vinegar; stir well.
  • Cook for about 2 hours or in a slow cooker on low for approximately 6 hours.
  • Tastes better the next day.
