- 2 3⁄4 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups instant potato flakes
- 2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese or 1 cup cheddar cheese
directions
- In large saucepan, bring the water, milk and salt to a boil.
- Add the butter, garlic, potato flakes and chilies.
- Stir until thickened.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
