1. I made this tonight and I thought it has great potential to be good but was to dry for me. The bisquick needed more water. It was way to dry even after adding extra. I baked it at 350 since the oven temp isn't listed. I will try it again but make my own dough. Sorry, this needs some doctoring.

 2. Made this tonight for dinner, and we really enjoyed it. i did cut the recipe in half and used a smaller casserole dish (8x8in), and it was just enough for 2 of us. I also added cheese in with the bisquick mix, and just used canned chili. Thanks for posting a quick and yummy recipe for a lazy night like tonight! (and im sure kids would love this...after all college students are kids at heart!)

 3. Easy and delicious. I used homemade chili that I was trying to use up before it spoiled. Also, used reduced fat bisquick and sharp cheddar cheese. Taste was not sacrificed one bit.

I'll start by saying most of my recipies are rich and not made for dieting, although a very few are healthy by nature! I live in Oklahoma and was raised on a farm. We ate what we raised and grew. Our trips to town were bi-monthly but my Mother was creative and made do with what we had such as cattle, pork, poultry, fruit, grain, milk, eggs and garden veggies. I have collected cookbooks for years and love to take different combinations of other recipes and combine them to make my own. My favorite cookbooks are those from small country churches from old fashion cooks. My favorite time of year is Christmas and I start about 3 weeks before making homemade candy.
