Chili Skillet Meal

"This is my absolute favorite weeknight meal that is quick and easy to put together and so delicious!! It is a one-dish meal so there is minimal cleanup and it is also pretty easy on the wallet, especially when I use my home-canned tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes."

  • Brown the ground beef in a large, deep skillet and drain off the fat.
  • Add the tomato sauce, tomatoes, beans, chili powder, garlic salt and beef broth to the skillet and stir well to combine.
  • Stir in the uncooked macaroni, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed and the macaroni is tender.
  • Remove from the heat and grate parmesan cheese over the top if desired. Replace lid for a few minutes to let the cheese melt and serve!
