Chili With Cocoa and Salsa

"From www.shopworldkitchen.com. This is delicious! The original recipe simply said 4 sausages, I am guessing 1 pound, but you could probably use 1/2 a pound.NOTE: I tried adding a can of black beans to my last batch - not my best experiment and I do not recommend it. :("

  1. Thank you, Kat's Mom, for sharing this recipe. I made it for the January 2009 Comfort Cafe. I used 1 lb of mild Italian sausage and omitted the jalapeno peppers because my children don't do spicy. DH and I added a dash of chipotle pepper sauce and garnished with some jalapenos at the table. For those who have never tried cocoa in their chili, definitely do try it! It adds a mellow richness that you can't quite put your finger on. Delicious!
