ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups Italian parsley, packed
- 1 1⁄2 cups cilantro leaves, packed
- 1⁄2 cup olive oil
- 1⁄4 cup red wine or 1/4 cup sherry wine vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cumin
- 3⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons carrots, finely shredded
- 2 tablespoons chilies, seeded, minced
directions
- Combine first 7 ingredients in a food processor; process until almost pureed.
- Stir in carrots and chiles.
- This sauce can be made 1 day ahead and refrigerated.
