Chinese Chicken Pizza

"The ingredients may seem unusual, but one bite, and you'll keep coming back for more!! Definitely not the traditional American pizza, very nice when you just want something "a little different". The combination of flavors is extraordinary! I use part-skim mozzarella to keep the fat-content low. Usually serve this with a green salad, but as I think of it, egg rolls would also be a great side! Sometimes I add veggies (onions, green pepper, mushrooms, etc.) before baking. MMM!"

  1. Manda, I have to be honest. I couldn't tell my family what was in this pizza until after they tasted. Weird ingredients is right but what a yummy taste. The peanut butter and fresh ginger really gave this a distinct flavor. I used 1 cup mozzarella cheese and sprinkled some sliced mushrooms and green pepper on top. Thanks for making our pizza night very interesting and tasty.

  2. This was just too rich for us. The taste was there but too much. I did cut down the vinigar to 1/4 cup.

  3. Surprisingly good! I wasn't happy with the pizza crust we bought but I'll change that the next time we have this. The topping was wonderful though and this recipe will be done again at our house. Real nice change from the same old, same old, pizza.

  4. what a recipe! We always keep home-made pizza dough in hand, so this was a quick and delicious dinner. the sauce packs alot more flavour than your usual pizza, and the peanut butter was a good call. sprinkle some green onion and serve.

  5. I didn't actually get to try this one but everyone else said it was wonderful.

I am a single gal, living on my own; currently working as an Occupational Therapist & living in Cumberland, MD. (It is "God's Country" out here...beautiful!) I LOVE to cook and bake, and love anything that looks, tastes, smells, or even closely resembles a veggie. I LOVE moo-cows, and therefore, cannot bring myself to eat any part of the adorable critters (i.e. NO RED MEAT!!) I love the outdoors, and pride myself on being the master griller on the fire pit. My mother's side of the family is 100% Polish, so I have an inborn passion for cooking...unfortunately, along with that comes a love of eating, too!! But, hey..u only live once, so I say "EAT, DRINK, and BE MERRY!!!"
