  • 4 cups cold water
  • 4 teaspoons green tea (or 4 tea bags)

directions

  • Bring water just to a boil. Remove from the heat.
  • Put the tea leaves in a strainer and put in the water to steep (or add tea bags if you are using them instead). Steep for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove tea and serve immediately in a teapot.

  1. Positively loved this light refreshing tea. I used leaf tea and as I have an infuser style of pot I heated the pot with hot water, poured it out and then put the tea leaves in the infuser basket and poured over the boiling water and let it steep before drinking.   3. I felt this was weak compared with the tea I love that they serve at Chinese restaurants. I used an organic green tea bag. On the package it even said steep less time. Hm
