- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips (or chunks)
directions
- preheat oven to 350.
- cream butter, peanut butter and sugars.
- add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- beat in vanilla.
- combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
- stir in chips.
- drop by rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheets.
- bake at 350 for 12-15 mins.
- cool for 2 mins before removing to wire racks.
