Chocolate Banana Shake

"This was something I made one day when searching for a snack, and not finding much of anything. We didn't have any ice cream, so I got creative, and made a mess. Very yummy!"

  1. Very tasty and fast shake. I used about 2 cups of milk because 1/2 cup was not quite enough. I used 3 heaping tbs of the quik powder. I didn't use sugar because the quik powder has sugar in it. It was very tasty and the family really enjoyed. It was perfect for my husband who likes to add protein which we only have in chocolate flavor. We would make this again. Thanks so much! Made for Spring PAC 2009

  2. I used unsweetened cocoa powder and it was a great afternoon snack. Next time I may try it with my malted chocolate drink mix. I served it with a dollop of chocolate whip cream out of a can. Made for the Spring 2009 PAC.

  3. Well, I do agree that this combo of banana-milk-chocolate mix is really yummy. But, I had this this afternoon and I had halved the recipe to make just 1 serving for myself. I realised that 1/4 cup of milk wasn't enough. I had to use more. I kept adding and I guess I used about 1 whole cup of milk. I used Low-fat milk to make this slightly guilt free;) I used 3 tbsps. of Cadbury's Chocolate drink mix for this recipe. I omitted the ice altogether. This is very good comfort food, especially when you're feeling blue. Thanks for sharing it just when I needed it.

I'm not in the kitchen often, but I'm trying to remedy that by cooking one new dish each week. So far it's been a fun little adventure!
