  • Bring 3 C.
  • milk to a boil.
  • Add remaining ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • Add to boiling milk.
  • Stir until thickened and smooth.
  • Pour in individual custard dishes and put in fridge until set.
  • This is great served covered with cool whip or half and half.

  1. Looks delicious! Please correct the spelling though: blancmange. :-) It is apparently from the Old French meaning "white dish" though of course yours isn't white.
     
  2. This didn't work well for me at all! It tasted nice, but was too liquidy and was more like soup than pudding. I even turned the milk mixture back to the stove and let it boil some more after adding the cornstarch mixture, but it didn't help. Are you sure the amount of cornstarch is correct?
