Chocolate Cheesecake Squares

  1. Preheat oven to 325*.
  2. Line a 9 inch caking pan with tin foil; grease the foil and set aside.
  3. For the crust:.
  4. In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Cut in butter until fine crumbs form. Stir in egg yolk, vanilla and walnuts; mix well. Press onto bottom of the prepared foil lined pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. For the filling:.
  6. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the sour cream, flour, orange peel and salt; mix well. Add egg and vanilla; beat on low speed just until combined. Pour over warm crust. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on wire rack for 1 hour.
  7. Garnish top with chocolate shavings. Refrigertae overnight.
