Chocolate Chess Pie
"Not sure exactly where this recipe originated from, my mother, raised is the Mississippi Delta, passed it down to me - It has been a long standing tradition for Holidays, Pot Lucks and just about anytime a dessert was needed. You can make it in 2 large Pies or 22 individual pie shells - (These are a little harder to find these days)"

ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 10 ounces evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
directions
- Mix Sugar and Cocoa together until blended.
- add all other ingredients until well blended - Do not over mix.
- Pour in pie shells.
- Once cooled top with whip topping and shaved chocolate sprinkles.
- I make 2 large pies or 22 tarts.
