  1. Heat over to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl beat brown sugar, sugar, margarine, and shortening until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla and egg; blend well.
  4. Lightly spoon flour int measuring cup; level off.
  5. Blend in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and all spice; blend well.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfulls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees F for 9-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool for about a minute, and remove from cookie sheets.
