1 Dozen (Roughly)
- Serves:
- 6
ingredients
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional) or 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium sized bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients. Again, until well blended.
- Pour wet ingredients on top of dry ones and mix very well. (If you have to, mush with your hands.).
- By rounded tablespoon, drop (or shake) two lumps of dough (on top of each other) onto ungreased cookie sheet; about one or two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. (If you take the cookies out just a little before they're done then let them sit on the pan for a few minutes, then you get this amazing chewy/soft combo!).

Hello, there!
I am a teenager who loves to bake. If I am sad; I bake. If I am angry; I bake. And if I am happy; I bake. I dream of having my own bakery one day where I'd sell hundreds of cookies using my secret cooking technique. Because I have so many siblings, I have plenty of people to test my recipes on!
Have a great day!
