  1. Set oven to 350 for light, nonstick pans. 325 for dark. Put pans on top rack or alternate middle and top halfway through so the bottoms don't burn.
  2. Heat butter for 15 seconds or leave out during the day.
  3. Add all but the chocolate chips into the bowl and mix.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and mix.
  5. Start dropping balls of cookie dough and bake.
