  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 1 12 cups brown sugar, packed, divided
  • 12 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 12 cups butterscotch chips
  • 3 egg whites, room temperature

  • Combine flour and 1/2 cup brown sugar.
  • Stir in butter and blend well.
  • Press mixture into ungreased 9x13 pan and sprinkle with chocolate and butterscotch morsels.
  • Beat egg whites at high speed until foamy.
  • Gradually add 1 cup packed brown sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread meringue over chocolate layer.
  • Bake at 375F for 18 - 20 minutes.
