“My nana used to make this cake and now it's a favorite of my family and friends. What makes this cake unique is it starts with a box of yellow cake mix. It's got just the right amount of chocolate so it's not overly sweet. Additional chocolate chips can be added for serious chocolate lovers. It's great served warm as the chocolate is gooey but I think it gets even better the next day. Super easy recipe that starts with a mix but with a few additions it tastes like it was made from scratch.”

Directions

  1. Grease and flour bundt cake pan.
  2. Mix all ingredients together except for the chocolate chips.
  3. Beat for 3 minutes.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips (batter will be very thick).
  5. Pour into bundt pan.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  7. Once it cools dust with powdered sugar if you'd like.
