  • 1 single refrigerated pie crust
  • 34 cup butter (softened) or 34 cup margarine (softened)
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 34 cup flour
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunk (i use bakers brand)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325.
  2. prepare pie crust as directed on package,using 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer on med speed untill light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
  4. Beat in flour on low speed. Stir in chocolate chunks and nuts.
  5. Spread in prepared crust.
  6. Bake 65-70 minutes or untill toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely on wire rack.
