  • 1 single refrigerated pie crust
  • 34 cup butter (softened) or 3/4 cup margarine (softened)
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 34 cup flour
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunk (i use bakers brand)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

directions

  • Heat oven to 325.
  • prepare pie crust as directed on package,using 9 inch pie plate.
  • Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer on med speed untill light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
  • Beat in flour on low speed. Stir in chocolate chunks and nuts.
  • Spread in prepared crust.
  • Bake 65-70 minutes or untill toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely on wire rack.
