  1. Inez, somehow I knew just by reading these ingredients and seeing your name attached to it that this recipe would be a winner! I wasn't disappointed! Truly easy and incredibly delicious! I made this recipe exactly as directed and it came out wonderfully! I wouldn't change a thing. It's a keeper, Inez! Thanks, once again for a truly remarkable recipe!

  2. Nezz, it was EXCELLENT! I have to warn that it is quite sweet and rich and if someone does not like things too sweet this is not for them. Or like me you can make really small squares. The recipe reminds me of an Indian sweet called Burfi, although the method was quite different.

  3. You bite into these and go "OMG-these are delicious!!!" Then after eating 2, you realize they are really rich. But definitely worth it....great for large crowds so you can cut them small. When you make the base layer, it's the consistency of chocolate mousse (I was questioning if I was doing it right) but it turns out perfect (turns out to be something in between choc.cake and brownie when cooked)

  4. This was an excellent recipe. A co-worker asked for the recipe and another batch for our work place. Thanks!!!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
