Chocolate Cookie Slices

"Chocolate lovers want only one thing: More chocolate!! Preferably in the form of magical chocolate-y treats!! This recipe has chunks of butter cookies throughout slices of decadent creamy chocolate fudge. Absolute chocolate heaven!!"

  • 10 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 (300 ml) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (regular or low-fat)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 12 cups butter cookies, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces

  • Line an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 - inch loaf pan with plastic wrap.
  • Place chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in a heat-proof bowl. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Place bowl containg chocolate mixture over water, making sure water doesn't touch bottom of the bowl. Stir occasionally until chocolate is melted and combined with sweetened condensed milk.
  • Remove bowl from saucepan and stir in cookies.
  • Add mixture to loaf pan, pressing it down slightly. Chill in refrigerator until set, about 3 hours. Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
  • TIPS: To prepare in the microwave, place chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in a large microwaveable bowl. Cook on high power for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
