Chocolate Decadence Bread Pudding

"I got this recipe from a Spice Island Recipe card that was tucked in a womans magazine years ago. I have been making it for years and have always got rave reviews. Old fashioned white bread works best but you can use any type of white bread. I can't find it on thier website anymore so I want to post it for safe keeping."

  1. Looks delicious but keep a VERY CLOSE eye on the chocolate while it's melting. Check it very often, NOT every 3 minutes. At least, every minute. Often chocolate holds it's shape and won't look as though it;s melting. The only way is to see if you can cream it into the mixture. Burnt chocolate is not salvagable and you;d have to start over. You might grate the chocolate first and cut down on the chance of burning.
