  1. These were good little cookies! They are not an overly sweet cookie , so if you are looking for sweeeeeet , these aren't it! They go great with a cup of fresh coffee ;) I made some without nuts, some with walnuts, and to give some of them an extra burst of sweet , I rolled them in powdered sugar before baking them. I did have a couple of issues that I just wanted to talk about ... The ingredient amounts, as stated, gave me such a soft sticky dough I couldn't work with it. I ended up adding another whole cup of flour before it resembled normal cookie dough. Worked fine after that! Oh , it doesn't say in the recipe where the baking soda comes in , but I just added it to the flour. Also, I have a pretty warm oven, so I had to drop the temp to 350 and baking them for 10 minutes was perfect for me. These will definitely be made again , I have lots of times where I don't want a real sweet cookie , these fit the bill!! :) Thanks for posting the recipe!!
