Chocolate Fudge

"This is a recipe adapted from another, or an amalgamation of others that I found on this site. It's most assuredly for the chocolate addics who exist in this world, those who wish to become one. Its simple, easy, and cheap. What better candy is there? P.S. A many thanks to Zao Jun who just knew."

directions

  • Melt chocolate chips first in a double boiler.
  • When melted, add the condensed milk, at this point the melted chocolate would become tough to handle, but keep folding untill the milk is incorporated and becomes smooth.
  • Add the 1 cup of mini marshmallows.
  • Stir in until completly melted into chocolate.
  • Pour into greased tin and add the remaining marshmallows. I used a standard loaf pan, cause I like chunks not pieces of fudge.
  • Chill untill firm, overnight is best.
  • Serve and enjoy.

ummmmm...... lets see, I'm a studying librarian who has just gooton a sudden urge to learn to cook outside my comfort zone, and by that I mean dishes that are outside my country's waters in origin. Love, LoVE, LOVE to read and just accumilate info, and now its cooking. Think I just repeated myself. Anywho, my favorite cook is everyone's favourite cook, my granny. (this woman could fry a breadfruit!) LOL. Right at this moment however I'm going through a cookbook that has been labeled the 'definative text on XXX cooking'. I'll let you know how that plays out. Who knows, I might even post successful attempts online, and get rid of that demeaning title that they give to newcomers.
