  1. I grew up with this receipe. I use less sugar then is called for. You can eat them straight from the freezer.

  2. Like others,my mother made these when we were young. Every rainy day she made sure we had a special school snack. Luckily for us she had a 5 roses cookbook! Well she's in her 80's now & it's raining so I'd best be cooking! Like all good traditions I have shared this delicious recipe (and many others) with my daughters. 5 roses has put many a smile upon many families faces. On taste you'll know why ? Thanks for sharing this recipe, but more importantly thanks Mom!

  4. My mother made this when I was very young and I have continued with my own children. Beware, these cookies are amazing and you cannot have just one. They are so addictive you'll start craving them.

  5. I really like this recipe. I've made this with children as well and they like how simple and quick it is.

I live in Montréal,Québec. I've only started cooking about a year ago, I would eat out alot and figure most of the things I was ordering, I could try and copy it. I found out I love to cook and I have more money to spend on other things.
