Chocolate Oatmeal

"I love oatmeal but I also need something a little more filling in the mornings. So I added chocolate protein powder to my oatmeal, and it was delicious and very healthy! *notes* 1. if you like it a little sweeter, add some Splenda! 2. You can also substitute the water for milk if you like it creamier 3. You can also vary the flavors. You can use vanilla powder and add cinnamon, bananas, any fruit of your choice, and maybe some honey! I find the chocolate best on its own though."

directions

  • Add boiling water to oatmeal, slowly to make sure that it is not too much. You want it to be a little watery before you add the protein powder, because the powder soaks up a lot of moisture.
  • Add the protein powder and mix thoroughly. If it is too watery, add more powder. If its too thick, add more water! Very simple.

  1. This is a quick and easy way for me to add more protein to my diet! I've never done it with chocolate protein powder before, though. I think I'd add some cocoa powder next time because the chocolate flavor wasn't very strong. Be sure that there are no clumps in your protein powder before stirring it in, or you'll find yourself biting into a congealed chunk of powder! Made for PAC Spring 2010.
