  1. Preheat the oven to 350f.
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment, (makes for easy cleanup).
  3. Cream the butter and sugars together.
  4. Add vanilla and the eggs, beat well.
  5. Add flour,baking soda, cinnamon and salt, till well combined.
  6. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoons of the batter onto the lined cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes,( dont let them over bake,) cool on cookie sheet for a minute and move to a cooling rack.
