  1. Haven't made these yet but I do have a tip. Some reviews mentioned saltiness. I found out the hard way that my baking powder is quite salty so I often leave salt out of my baked goods with no ill effects that I've noticed. Much more to my taste. Baking soda is also salty, of course. I understand that the salt called for in recipes is often primarily for flavor. You might experiment. Thanks for posting, Marg!

  2. This was a nice change from regular pancakes! I used whole wheat flour, skipped the oil, added a packet of Splenda, and I was very light-handed with the salt based on the previous review. After I mixed it up, it still seemed a little thick, so I added about half a tablespoon of water to the batter. I cooked these in the microwave instead of a griddle; I only got three pancakes, and they weren't very large either, so I think to say it makes six servings is a bit of a stretch! They were pretty good, but something was lacking in the flavor, so next time I'd probably add some more spice. Thanks for posting!

  3. This only made three pancakes. They tasted kind of salty. I wouldn't make these again.

  4. Light recipe, I would sugar and double the batch because it makes very little

  5. I loved these! I added a little bit of regular pancake mix to beef it up a bit, but they were a hit.

Yet another feature change that has made the website less user friendly. It's sad to watch a fantastic site deteriorate over the years. Some of my recipes are on my blog.
