“I found this in Betty Crocker's Cookie Book (1998) but I have been making these since I was in younger. These are different than a lot of other similar recipes because they have chocolate chips in them instead of cocoa. I just guessed on how many this makes and cooking time is chilling time.”

  1. Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper or foil.
  2. Heat chocolate chips, corn syrup, peanut butter, milk and vanilla in a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until choclate is melted and mixture is smooth; remove from heat. Stir in oats and peanuts until well coated.
  3. Drop mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Refrigerate uncovered about 1 hour or until firm. Store covered in refrigerator.
