Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bakes

"I found this in Betty Crocker's Cookie Book (1998) but I have been making these since I was in younger. These are different than a lot of other similar recipes because they have chocolate chips in them instead of cocoa. I just guessed on how many this makes and cooking time is chilling time."

  • Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper or foil.
  • Heat chocolate chips, corn syrup, peanut butter, milk and vanilla in a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until choclate is melted and mixture is smooth; remove from heat. Stir in oats and peanuts until well coated.
  • Drop mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Refrigerate uncovered about 1 hour or until firm. Store covered in refrigerator.
