  1. This is heavenly!!!! I only used 1/2 the amount of cream, I think more would have been overkill actually. As it was the pear comes shining through with just a slight chocolate flavor. At first I thought I wasn't going to like it, but with every sip I fell more in love. This is an uber yummy way to drink dessert!!!

  2. Nice little cocktail here! I liked the pear and chocolate together, I used Godiva chocolate liquor. Thanks for a yummy drink!

  3. YUM! Most martinis are so strong in the alcohol content that I can't finish them. But this martini was an exception. It was so creamy, and the light chocolate flavor made this a delightful martini. I made two versions of this...one with white chocolate liqueur and another with regular chocolate liqueur. They were both great, but the one with regular (darker) chocolate liqueur was just a tad more to my liking. Thanks for sharing your cocktail recipe with us!

  4. I liked this drink but next time I will use less cream. I wanted more of the pear flavor to come through. Thanks for sharing! Made for 1-2-3 Tag.

  5. These are our new favorite after dinner drink "dessert". I made them while at our beach house and had to depend on the very small State Liquor Store. They had Pears Absolute Vodka (yeah), but didn't have, my favorite, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur. They had DeKuyper Creme de Cocoa, so that's what we used (there was clear or dark, I bought the dark). For the two of us I added to a full shaker of cracked ice: 3 ounces each of the Pears and Creme de Cocoa and 6 ounces of half & half (that is what I had on hand). The flavor reminded me of the poached pears on vanilla ice cream w/ chocolate sauce, served at my bridal shower. Excellent!! Thanks for sharing. :)
