  • Preheat oven to 300 F degrees .
  • Combine butter and chocolate in small saucepan and set to melt over low heat.
  • In a separate bowl, combine and beat sugar, Karo, salt, flour and eggs.
  • Stir chocolate mixture occasionally until melted, smooth in finish.
  • Combine chocolate sauce and vanilla with sugar mixture. Stir in pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake for one hour or until the filling cracks a few times in the center.
