  1. Fit piecrust into 9" pie plate, fold edges under and crimp.
  2. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate morsels evenly onto bottom of piecrust and set aside.
  3. Combine sugars, corn syrup, and water (or bourbon) in a large saucepan.
  4. Bring to a boil over med.
  5. heat.
  6. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  7. Whisk together eggs and remaining ingredients.
  8. Gradually stir about one fourth of the hot mixture into egg mixture.
  9. Add to remaining hot mixture, stirring constanly.
  10. Pour filling into piecrust.
  11. Bake at 325 for 55 minutes.
  12. Cool on rack.
